EyeTV 3 software does not support current WinTV-HVR-950Q
EyeTV 3 software supports various tuner hardware from different 3rd party manufacturers.
Over the years, Hauppauge has released a number of tuner devices, some of which work with EyeTV.
EyeTV 3 software does not support the current WinTV-HVR-950Q tuner hardware, manufactured by Hauppauge and currently sold in the marketplace.

EyeTV 3 does support a much older version of that hardware – different hardware, but under the same name. That version of the WinTV-HVR-950Q, released a few years ago, is no longer available for sale.

They have cosmetic differences. You can see how the text, font and graphics printed on each unit is different.
