EyeTV 3 software does not support the HDHomeRun PRIME, EXTEND or EXPAND

EyeTV 3 software does not support the HDHomeRun PRIME, HDHomeRun EXTEND, or HDHomeRun EXPAND from SiliconDust.

It does support the earlier HDHomeRun Dual model (North America), HDHomeRun Connect model (North America), and the original dual tuner HDHomeRun for North America.

If a HDHomeRun PRIME is on your network, EyeTV may detect it by mistake, but that is not intended.

EyeTV won’t be able to access encrypted or premium channels via the CableCARD interface.  Furthermore, we can’t guarantee that any channels will be received at all, since EyeTV simply isn’t designed to work with the HDHomeRun PRIME.

As for the HDHomeRun EXTEND and HDHomeRun EXPAND, EyeTV 3 was never designed to work with those devices, and won’t be updated in the future to support them.
