SIMBL (SIMple Bundle Loader) is 3rd party software that can be used to add hacks and plugins to Safari and other applications.
SIMBL can conflict with a number of applications, causing crashing.
EyeTV and Turbo.264 HD do not need SIMBL to function, and older versions of SIMBL can interfere with their operation.
If our software detects an older version of SIMBL, you will see this message:
EyeTV and Turbo.264 will need SIMBL to be updated, or removed.
1) Visit http://www.culater.net/software/SIMBL/SIMBL.php for more information about SIMBL
2) Download http://www.culater.net/dl/files/SIMBL-0.9.9.zip
3) Unzip that file, and then use SIMBL Uninstaller
Alternatively, if you want to still use SIMBL, you can also try to update it 0.9.9, by using SIMBL-0.9.9.pkg (or whatever version is the latest).
An alternative to SIMBL is EasySIMBL, which should also work with Elgato products under OS X 10.8:
