In some rare cases, the automatic Wi-Fi connection to EyeTV W from your Android device will fail with following error message: “Network disabled because Internet connection is slow“.

This error message appears because your Android device is checking the Internet connection of the Wi-Fi hotspot (EyeTV W in this case). As EyeTV W has no possibility to connect to Internet, the Android device will refuse to use EyeTV W as Wi-Fi hotspot.

To solve this problem, you just need to uncheck the “Check for Internet service” checkbox in your Wi-Fi advanced settings. On most Android devices, the Wi-Fi advanced settings are accessible via Settings -> Wi-Fi -> ‘Menu’ button -> Advanced.
